Clearbury Ring is a univallate Iron Age hillfort located near Salisbury in Wiltshire, England. The monument consists of a single defensive bank and ditch enclosing an approximately circular area on high ground, typical of such fortifications constructed during the later prehistoric period. The site commands views across the surrounding landscape and would have served as a defensive and possibly administrative centre during the Iron Age. Like many hillforts in the region, Clearbury Ring represents an important phase in the settlement patterns and social organisation of southern Britain in the centuries preceding the Roman conquest.
