Clochanshiels cairns, houses and field systems is a post-medieval settlement complex located approximately 500 metres east-southeast of Clochanshiels in Kincardineshire, Scotland. The site comprises evidence of domestic occupation and associated agricultural landscape features typical of early modern rural settlement in north-east Scotland. The remains include structural elements of houses and cairn material alongside traces of field systems that reflect the organisation of arable and pastoral land use during the post-medieval period. This landscape provides archaeological evidence of how communities managed and exploited the Mearns countryside in the centuries following the medieval period.
