Cup marked rock in wall east of Scarnber Wood, 500m north east of Bark Laithe, Winterburn is a prehistoric rock art monument of Neolithic or Bronze Age date. The stone displays cup markings, a form of rock art consisting of small, roughly circular depressions pecked into the rock surface, which is characteristic of ritual or ceremonial sites across northern Britain dating from around 3000 to 1500 BC.
