Dovecote, Beddington Park is a brick-built dovecote located within Beddington Park in Surrey. The structure dates to the seventeenth century and represents a substantial example of a domestic ancillary building of that period. Dovecotes of this date and quality indicate the agricultural and economic status of the estate, as such structures were typically constructed by landowners of considerable means to house pigeons for both food and the valuable guano used as fertiliser. The building survives as a testament to the historical development and management of the Beddington estate.
