Dryhope, hut circle, cairns and field system is a Post-Medieval settlement complex located approximately 500 metres west-north-west of Dryhope in Selkirkshire, Scotland. The site comprises the remains of a hut circle together with associated cairns and an organized field system, evidencing the agricultural practices and domestic settlement patterns of the post-medieval Highland and Border regions. The structures reflect the subsistence farming and pastoral activities typical of upland Scottish communities during the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries, when such dispersed settlements were worked by tenant farmers and herding families. The surviving physical remains, including the hut circle foundation and field boundaries marked by clearance cairns, provide archaeological evidence of land use and settlement organization in this period of Selkirkshire's rural history.
