The site comprises two stone burial chambers positioned within a single communal cairn, a construction method characteristic of Neolithic funerary practice in Wales dating to approximately 3500–3000 BC. The chambers were accessed by means of passages and contained human remains, indicating their use as repositories for collective burial over an extended period.
