Graven is a Neolithic chambered cairn located approximately 650 metres south-west of Graven in Shetland, Scotland. The monument dates to the Neolithic period and represents the funerary architecture characteristic of early farming communities in the Northern Isles. Like other chambered cairns of Shetland, it would have served as a communal burial monument, reflecting the ritual practices and social organisation of Neolithic society.
