Grimspound is a Bronze Age settlement located on Dartmoor between Hookney Tor and Hameldown Tor in Devon, England. The site comprises a roughly circular enclosure defined by a substantial stone bank, within which lie the remains of multiple circular stone-built dwellings characteristic of the period, together with an associated field system of banks and clearance cairns. The monument dates to the middle Bronze Age, approximately 1500 to 1000 BCE, and represents one of the better-preserved examples of prehistoric settlement organisation on Dartmoor. Post-medieval activity is attested by two caches found within the monument boundaries, indicating continued use or visitation of the site in later periods.
