Hillfort is a prehistoric hillfort located near Dungannon in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The monument comprises a substantial defensive earthwork consisting of a roughly circular enclosure formed by one or more banks and external ditches, characteristic of Iron Age fortified settlements in Ulster. Such hillforts served as territorial strongholds and centres of power for local élites during the later prehistoric period, typically occupied between the 1st millennium BC and the early medieval period. The site's location on elevated terrain would have provided both defensive advantage and control over the surrounding landscape and communication routes.
