The settlement consists of multiple hut circles, the substantial foundations and wall footings of which are visible as low stone features scattered across the upland landscape. The site represents evidence of highland farming and pastoral settlement during the later prehistoric period, when such dispersed domestic communities exploited the marginal upland terrain of Wales.
