Hut circles south-east of Yar Tor in Devon is a Bronze Age settlement comprising the remains of several roundhouses characteristic of prehistoric occupation on Dartmoor. The site consists of multiple circular or sub-circular stone-founded structures, typical of domestic habitation during the second millennium BCE. Such hut circle settlements represent important evidence for the pattern of upland settlement and land use during the Bronze Age in south-west England. The remains, preserved as low stone rubble foundations visible at ground level, contribute to the archaeological understanding of prehistoric Dartmoor communities and their adaptation to moorland environments.
