Kilphedir Broch is an Iron Age defensive structure located 540 metres east-north-east of Helmsdale in Sutherland, Scottish Highlands. The broch dates to the Iron Age period and represents the characteristic architectural form of roundhouse fortifications that are distinctive to northern Scotland during this era. The site is recorded in the Historic Environment Record under the official designation HES INSPIRE SM1870. As a broch, the monument would have comprised a circular stone-built tower with thick defensive walls, typical of these structures which served both residential and protective functions in Iron Age communities.
