Kingavin is a deserted settlement situated 650 metres east-north-east of Dunagoil on the Isle of Bute, Scotland. The site represents Iron Age occupation within a landscape that includes other significant prehistoric monuments, notably the nearby Dunagoil fort. Little detailed archaeological investigation has been published on Kingavin itself, though its designation within the Iron Age period suggests it formed part of the settlement pattern contemporary with fortified sites in the region. The physical remains are consistent with a small agricultural community of the Iron Age period, occupying land within proximity to more defensible positions that characterised settlement organisation in Argyll during this era.
