Knockhill Wood enclosure is a post-medieval field system located approximately 500 metres west of Knockhill Wood in East Lothian, Scotland. The enclosure belongs to the post-medieval period and represents the agricultural land management practices of early modern rural Scotland. Such field systems reflect the progressive reorganisation and improvement of farmland during the centuries following the medieval period, when enclosed fields gradually replaced open-field cultivation across much of lowland Scotland.
