Letheringham Priory is a medieval Augustinian house situated in Suffolk, founded in the twelfth century. The priory was dissolved during the Reformation, after which the site was developed as a domestic residence. Surviving remains include substantial stone and flint ruins of the monastic buildings, along with evidence of a seventeenth-century walled garden that reflects post-Dissolution reuse of the property. The site retains archaeological significance as an example of a smaller East Anglian priory and demonstrates the transformation of monastic landscapes into secular estates during the early modern period.
