Little Carlton medieval village and part of the meadow field system is a scheduled ancient monument located in Nottinghamshire comprising the earthwork remains of a medieval settlement and associated agricultural landscape. The site preserves ridge and furrow cultivation patterns characteristic of the open field system practised during the medieval period, alongside the topographical evidence of former dwelling plots and other settlement features. The earthworks demonstrate the physical organisation of a medieval rural community and its relationship to the surrounding farmed land.
