Little Odell is a scheduled ancient monument comprising the earthwork remains of a medieval village located in Bedfordshire. The site preserves ridge and furrow cultivation patterns and settlement features that date principally to the medieval period, with evidence suggesting occupation from at least the 12th century onwards. The village was eventually abandoned, leaving behind substantial earthwork remains that survive in the landscape and provide valuable archaeological evidence for understanding medieval rural settlement patterns and agricultural practices in the East Midlands region. The site's survival as earthworks rather than being overlain by later development makes it particularly significant for archaeological study and interpretation of medieval village life.
