Martinlee Sike is a post-medieval farmstead, field system and assart bank located in Roxburghshire, Scotland. The site is situated on bedrock of the Inverclyde Group, a sequence of sandstone, siltstone and mudstone formed during the Osagean period. These underlying strata have shaped the landscape and soil conditions that would have influenced agricultural use of the land.
The farmstead represents settlement and land exploitation during the post-medieval period, when such small agricultural holdings became established across the Scottish Borders.
