Millhill is a post-medieval settlement, enclosure and road located approximately 500 metres east-north-east of Millhill in Dumfriesshire, Scotland. The site comprises the archaeological remains of a farming settlement dating to the post-medieval period, characterised by associated field enclosures and an access route typical of rural agricultural organisation in south-western Scotland. The physical remains indicate a pattern of land use and settlement organisation consistent with the early modern agricultural economy of the region, when such scattered farmsteads and their surrounding enclosed lands formed the basis of the rural landscape. The site is recorded within the Dumfries and Galloway Historic Environment Record and is designated as a scheduled monument under the heritage management systems of Historic Environment Scotland.
