Crookbarrow Farm is a motte and bailey castle with associated moated site located in Worcestershire. The motte, a substantial earthwork mound, represents typical Norman military architecture of the eleventh and twelfth centuries, whilst the bailey and moated enclosures reflect the domestic and defensive arrangements of a medieval manorial settlement. The site also preserves evidence of medieval agricultural activity in the surrounding landscape, demonstrating the integration of military, residential, and productive functions characteristic of the feudal period. The earthworks remain substantially visible and form an important archaeological record of early medieval settlement and land use in the region.
