Portmahomack monastic settlement is a Medieval ecclesiastical site located in Ross-shire, Scotland, positioned approximately 95 metres south-southwest of Tarbat West Church. The settlement represents an important early Christian monastic foundation, with evidence suggesting occupation and religious activity spanning the early Medieval period through later centuries. Archaeological investigation and survey have identified structural remains and artefactual material consistent with monastic use, including evidence of craft activities and domestic occupation typical of early Medieval monastic communities in northern Scotland.
