Ravenglass Roman fort bath-house is a substantial stone structure located at Ravenglass in Cumberland, England, dating to the Roman occupation of Britain in the second century AD. The building, locally known as Walls Castle, represents one of the finest surviving examples of Roman masonry in northern Britain, with its walls standing to a considerable height and displaying characteristic Roman construction techniques. Originally built as part of the fort complex at Ravenglass (Roman Glannaventa), which served as a supply base for the military operations in the Lake District, the bath-house would have provided essential bathing and heating facilities for the garrison. The survival of the structure in such robust condition has made it a significant monument for understanding Roman military life and engineering standards in Roman Britain's frontier regions.
