Rispain Camp is a prehistoric hillforted settlement located in Wigtownshire, south-west Scotland. The site comprises an enclosed settlement of Iron Age date, defended by substantial earthwork ramparts that are still visible in the modern landscape. The monument occupies a strategic hilltop position, affording commanding views of the surrounding terrain, consistent with the defensive and settlement functions of contemporary fortified settlements in south-west Scotland during the later prehistoric period.
