Rock with 30 to 40 cup marks and some groove marks in the wall at the west side of Black Hill Road, 610m ESE of New Dam, Skyreholme is a Bronze Age rock art panel. The stone bears a series of cup marks, which are small hemispherical depressions pecked into the rock surface, alongside linear groove marks that may have served ritual, territorial, or astronomical purposes. Such cup-marked rocks are characteristic of Bronze Age activity in the upland regions of northern England and represent evidence of prehistoric ceremonial or symbolic engagement with the landscape. The monument's location within the Pennine uplands and its integration into the later field system demonstrates how Bronze Age sacred sites were incorporated into the organisation of subsequent agricultural use.
