Rycote Chapel is a fifteenth-century private chapel located in Oxfordshire, England. Built in the late medieval period, it served the gentry family resident at Rycote Park and remains one of the finest examples of late Gothic ecclesiastical architecture in the county. The chapel retains significant original features including its timber roof and contemporary fittings, with particular note given to its ornate medieval furnishings and decorative elements. As a well-preserved monument from the later Middle Ages, Rycote Chapel demonstrates the architectural standards and religious patronage characteristic of the prosperous English landed classes during the fifteenth century.
