Site E of Milfield is a Neolithic henge monument located in the parish of Milfield in Northumberland. The site comprises a circular bank and ditch earthwork characteristic of henge construction, dating to the Neolithic period. Excavation and survey work have revealed evidence of ritual and ceremonial use typical of henge sites across northern Britain during the third millennium BC. The monument forms part of a complex of prehistoric sites within the Milfield Basin, an area of considerable archaeological importance for understanding Neolithic settlement and ritual practice in the North East of England.
