Grace Dieu Abbey is a medieval Cistercian monastery established in the thirteenth century in the Vale of Neath, Glamorgan, Wales. The abbey was founded around 1226 and operated as a daughter house within the Cistercian network until its dissolution during the Reformation in the sixteenth century. The site retains fragmentary remains of the monastic buildings characteristic of the Cistercian order, reflecting the austere architectural principles of the movement. As an abbey of significant regional importance, Grace Dieu served as a centre of religious observance, agricultural management, and spiritual life for medieval Wales until its abandonment at the Dissolution.
