History & significance

Six bowl barrows in Knight's Wood is a Bronze Age burial monument located approximately 500 metres south-east of White House Farm in Suffolk, forming part of the Seven Hills barrow cemetery. These earthworks represent typical examples of simple bowl barrows, the most common form of Bronze Age funerary architecture in eastern England, constructed as low circular mounds to cover cremated or inhumed remains.
