St Leonard's Priory is a medieval religious house located at Wombridge in Shropshire, founded as an Augustinian priory. The priory was established in the twelfth century and functioned as a community of canons regular until its dissolution in the sixteenth century. The surviving structures, including elements incorporated into and adjacent to the Church of St Mary and St Leonard, demonstrate the scale and permanence of the medieval monastic establishment. The priory church and associated claustral buildings formed the core of this important ecclesiastical centre, which exercised significant spiritual and economic influence within the region throughout the medieval period.
