The Burgs is a Neolithic causewayed enclosure located near Clun in Shropshire. The monument comprises a series of interrupted ditch segments forming an irregular polygonal earthwork, characteristic of early Neolithic ceremonial or settlement sites of the fourth millennium BCE. Causewayed enclosures of this type are among the earliest monumental constructions in Britain and typically served communal functions related to gathering, feasting, or ritual activity.
