The Giant's Cave at Piercefield is a Post Medieval cave feature located within the Piercefield estate in Monmouthshire, Wales. The cave was developed as part of the Picturesque landscape improvements undertaken at Piercefield during the eighteenth century, when the estate was created as a gentleman's seat with carefully composed scenic views and architectural follies. The cave represents the Romantic era taste for artificial grottoes and dramatic natural features that enhanced the aesthetic experience of the designed landscape. The site remains an important record of Post Medieval recreational and ornamental use of the Piercefield grounds.
