Trowie Loch is a burnt mound complex located 225 metres west-southwest of Vadill Cottage in Shetland, Scotland. The site consists of a mound composed primarily of heat-fractured stone, a characteristic feature of Iron Age and Norse settlement in the northern islands, likely accumulated through repeated episodes of heating stones for cooking or other thermal processes. The complex is situated adjacent to a lochan, a geographical setting typical of Shetland's burnt mound distribution.
