Twyford Roman villa is a substantial Roman domestic site located in Hampshire, England, dating to the Romano-British period. The villa, excavated and studied during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, comprised a main residential building with associated outbuildings typical of high-status rural settlements of the period. Archaeological investigation revealed evidence of mosaic pavements and other structural features characteristic of Romano-British villas of the second to fourth centuries. The site represents an important example of Roman provincial settlement patterns in southern Britain and contributes to understanding the distribution and development of villa complexes in the region during the later Roman occupation.
