Y Gyrn hut platform is a house platform of post-medieval date located in Breconshire, Wales. The site consists of a levelled platform which represents the foundation remains of a dwelling associated with agricultural settlement in the upland regions of South Wales. Such platforms are characteristic of dispersed rural settlement patterns in the post-medieval period, when small-scale farming communities occupied marginal upland terrain. The monument is recorded under Cadw's Scheduled Ancient Monument designation BR390 and provides archaeological evidence for the domestic and subsistence practices of rural Welsh communities during the post-medieval and early modern periods.
