Bruce Cabot was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico in 1904 and worked as a film and television actor. He appeared as Jack Driscoll in King Kong (1933) and in films including The Last of the Mohicans (1936), Fury (1936), and Dodge City (1939). He acted in multiple John Wayne films from Angel and the Badman (1947) through Big Jake (1971). He died in 1972.
