Biography
Chester Cooper Conklin was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa in 1886 and worked as a film actor, circus performer, and comedian. He began his career at Keystone Studios as one of Mack Sennett's Keystone Cops, frequently appearing alongside Mack Swain. Conklin performed in films with Mabel Normand and collaborated with Charlie Chaplin across both silent and sound pictures. He died in 1971.
