Biography

Dean Arnold Corll was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1939 and worked as an electrician and soldier. Between 1970 and 1973, he abducted, raped, tortured and murdered at least 29 teenage boys and young men in the Houston and Pasadena, Texas area, with assistance from two teenaged accomplices, David Owen Brooks and Elmer Wayne Henley. Henley fatally shot Corll, bringing the crimes to light; these killings became known as the Houston Mass Murders. At the time of discovery, the case was considered the worst example of serial murder in United States history.
