Dean Jones was born in Decatur, Alabama, on January 25, 1931, and died on September 1, 2015. He worked as a television actor, voice actor, film actor, stage actor, musician, and singer. He appeared as Agent Zeke Kelso in That Darn Cat! (1965) and as Jim Douglas in the Herbie franchise (1969–1997). He also played Dr. Herman Varnick in Beethoven (1992) and received a Golden Globe nomination for his performance as Albert Dooley in The Million Dollar Duck (1971). In 1995, he was inducted as a Disney Legend for his film work.
