Biography
Don Leslie Lind was born in Midvale, Utah in 1930 and worked as a military officer, physicist, priest, and astronaut. He completed an undergraduate degree in physics at the University of Utah in 1953, then earned a PhD in high-energy nuclear physics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1964. He died in 2022.
