Biography
Doris Hart was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on June 20, 1925, and died on May 29, 2015. She was an American tennis player active during the 1940s and the first half of the 1950s, achieving a world ranking of No. 1 in 1951. Hart won a Career Grand Slam in singles and was the first of three players to complete the career "Boxed Set" of Grand Slam titles by winning at least one title in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles at all four Grand Slam events.
