Biography

Hank Aaron was born in Mobile, Alabama on February 5, 1934, and died on January 22, 2021. He was a professional baseball right fielder who played 23 seasons in Major League Baseball between 1954 and 1976, spending 21 seasons with the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves and two seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers. At retirement, he held most of the game's major career power-hitting records, having broken Babe Ruth's long-standing record for career home runs with a total of 755, which remained the career lead until Barry Bonds surpassed it in 2007. He hit 24 or more home runs annually from 1955 through 1973 and was one of only two players to hit 30 or more home runs in a season at least 15 times.
