Harold Sakata was born in Holualoa, Hawaii in 1920 and worked as a weightlifter, professional wrestler, and actor. He won a silver medal in weightlifting at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London. He later pursued professional wrestling under the ring name Tosh Togo, competing in National Wrestling Alliance territories primarily as a tag team wrestler with Great Togo.
