Biography
Helene Madison was born in Madison, Wisconsin, on June 19, 1913. She was a swimmer who won three gold medals at the 1932 Olympics in the 100-meter freestyle, 400-meter freestyle, and 4x100-meter freestyle relay. She held world records in swimming. Madison died on November 27, 1970.
