Biography
John Warnock was born on October 6, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah. A mathematician, engineer, computer scientist, and entrepreneur, he co-founded Adobe Systems Inc. with Charles Geschke in 1982, serving as President for the first two years and subsequently as chairman and CEO for sixteen years. After stepping down as CEO in 2001, he remained co-chair of Adobe's Board of Directors with Geschke until 2017. He died on August 19, 2023.
