Biography

Kim Peek was born in Salt Lake City in 1951 and worked as a mnemonist. He had an exceptional memory and experienced social difficulties, possibly resulting from a developmental disability related to congenital brain abnormalities. He inspired the character Raymond Babbitt in the 1988 film Rain Man. Peek died in 2009.
