Biography
Kirstie Alley was born in Wichita, Kansas in 1951 and worked as an actor and television producer. She played Rebecca Howe on the NBC sitcom Cheers from 1987 to 1993, winning an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe in 1991 for the role. From 1997 to 2000 she starred as the lead in the sitcom Veronica's Closet, which brought her additional Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. She appeared as Mollie Jensen in Look Who's Talking (1989) and its sequels released in 1990 and 1993. She died on December 5, 2022.
