Biography
Natacha Rambova was born in Salt Lake City in 1897 and worked as a dancer, costume designer, art director, and Egyptologist. She gained prominence in the early 1920s and became one of Hollywood's first women to exert significant creative control behind the camera, particularly through her work with silent film actor Rudolph Valentino, whom she married in 1923. She died in 1966.
