Biography
Ronald Earle Glass was born on July 10, 1945, in Evansville, Indiana, and worked as a film, television, and voice actor. He played Detective Ron Harris in the television sitcom Barney Miller from 1975 to 1982, receiving a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the role. He also appeared as Shepherd Book in the science fiction series Firefly in 2002 and in the sequel film Serenity in 2005. Glass died on November 25, 2016.
