She worked as an actress in film, television, and theater, and also directed and produced for television and performed as a musician. Her roles included Jenny Wilder in Little House on the Prairie, Heather Duke in Heathers, Brenda Walsh in Beverly Hills, 90210 and its later iterations, and Prue Halliwell in Charmed. She died from cancer on July 13, 2024, at her home in Malibu, California, at age 53.
