Flag Fen Bronze Age post alignment and timber platform is a Scheduled Monument comprising a substantial wooden structure dating to the Bronze Age, located near Peterborough on the Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire border. The site features a well-preserved alignment of timber posts and an associated platform, which together constitute one of the most significant Bronze Age ceremonial or utilitarian structures known in the East Midlands. The monument is accompanied by Bronze Age field systems and later settlement evidence distributed across both sides of the Northey Road, demonstrating continuous or repeated use of the landscape across multiple periods. Excavation and investigation have revealed organic preservation within the waterlogged deposits, providing exceptional evidence for Bronze Age timber construction techniques and the organisation of Bronze Age communities in this region.
